While we were living on a boat, gardening  was not an option; I painted instead of planted. I love the variety of leaf shapes and textures. Leaves make a good starting point for experimenting with color and shapes. I created a garden of weird botanicals. It was quite fun! I moved away from the project for a bit... but may return... Although, now I'm thinking about birds...
