I Do Better With Deadlines

This boat thing is getting mega-real. We have signed the contract and put our earnest money in escrow. We now have a date we are putting the house up for sale: June 3. No more thinking about what needs to be done, time now to do it. I'm going to miss our beautiful house and yard and our fantastic neighborhood.

But, I suppose, all grand adventures come with a cost. Being far from friends and family and letting go of our comfortable home and very easy lifestyle are the costs of our adventure. I'm focusing on the excitement of the adventure rather than how much I'm going to miss my people.

It looks like we will be able to help move our boat from Florida to North Carolina around June 20! That will be our experience on a catamaran. Let's hope we love it!
